Greg Neate takes photographs of musicians and aims to capture the personality
of each in their performance. For the Brighton Fringe Festival in
May 2007, Greg has collaborated with Juice 107.2 to display a selection
of his photographs as colour canvasses and black & white prints
in the radio station’s studio. From local heroes to breaking
international acts, Neate Photos on the Radio reflects the range of
characters and styles of music that are influenced and made in Brighton.
Greg is a regular contributor to Plan B magazine, media sponsors of
the gallery, and Artrocker. He has previously exhibited photographs
of shows by Brighton promoters Melting Vinyl and the Gilded Palace
of Sin. He also currently has an exhibition of photographs taken at
the festival All Tomorrows Parties on display at Get Cutie, 33 Kensington
Gardens, Brighton.
Colour canvasses for Neate Photos on the Radio have been kindly provided
by the Vault, a professional photographic imaging lab based in Brighton.
Framing for all of Greg’s exhibitions is arranged through the
Brighton Framing Gallery.
